The Zingaro Nature Reserve (Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro) is a protected natural area located on the northwestern coast of Sicily, between the towns of Scopello and San Vito Lo Capo. Established in 1981, it was the first nature reserve in Sicily and is known for its stunning coastal landscapes, crystal-clear waters, and rich biodiversity. The reserve covers around 1,600 hectares and features hiking trails, secluded beaches, and a variety of native plant and animal species.
